These general conditions of sale define the contractual rights and obligations of the seller and the customer in a distance selling and by electronic way of goods and products. They regulate all the steps necessary for placing, executing and monitoring of the order.
The general sales conditions are accepted without reservation by the customer otherwise the order will not be validated.
Orders are made via an invoice provided by our customer service. The details and conditions of the order must be finalized and approved before shipping. Payment implies approval.
Orders are confirmed by email with the name and references of Light My Vintage. The confirmation email includes the product description, price including tax and the amount of shipping fees.
Payment can be made via Paypal or credit card.
The price list shall be made available by mail to customers on request. Prices are denominated in euros. The prices indicated include all taxes and VAT for France and EEC countries but do not cover shipping fees. The total price indicated in the order confirmation includes the price of the products and shipping fees. You must inquire about any customs fees that may apply upon delivery of the merchandise. Any import taxes must also be paid by the end recipient upon arrival of the merchandise.
The products are sent to the delivery address indicated by the buyer during the order process. In the event of an error in the name or address, the seller shall not be held liable if the product cannot be delivered. Shipping fees are expressed including tax. Any delays in delivery do not entitle the buyer to claim damages.
Light My Vintage Lighting will provide you with a tracking number by e-mail as soon as the merchandise is shipped. With the tracking number on the carrier’s website you can know where your order is.
The goods must be thoroughly inspected by the customer upon receipt in order to detect any transportation. The customer must ensure that any transportation and packaging damage detected is confirmed in writing by the carrier upon delivery and reported.
Given the “unique” character of our products, exchanges are unfortunately impossible.
All our products have a 1 year warranty after delivery. Bulbs are not covered under this guarantee.
Light My Vintage reserves the right to inspect the defective luminaire at all times to determine the defect and its cause. Light My Vintage therefore reserves the right to judge whether this defect is covered by the one-year warranty.
You have the right you withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within a period of fourteen days. The withdrawal period shall expire fourteen days after the day where you or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, takes physical possession of the last well.
Exercise of the right of withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from this agreement by means of a statement devoid of ambiguity (for example, letter sent by post or by e-mail) by mail at the address

The withdrawal period is respected, you simply need to convey your communication relating to the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
You will need to support the direct costs of returning of the property.
You need to return goods, to Light My Vintage, S.A.S.U., 6 rue Pierre Garcin, 13390 Auriol, France
without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days. After you have communicated to us your decision of withdrawal from the contract.
This deadline is deemed met if you return the property before the expiry of the period of fourteen days.
In the event of withdrawal on your part of this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including shipping without undue delay, and in any case , no later than fourteen days from the day where we are aware of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will proceed with the refund using the same means of payment than the one you have used for the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree in a different way; in any case this refund cause no charge for you.
We can defer repayment until we received the property or until you have provided proof of shipment of the property, whichever is the first of these facts.
There is your liable only in respect of the depreciation of the property resulting from manipulations other than those necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and the proper functioning of this property.
The seller is established in France for a stable and sustainable way to do business effectively, whatever, in the case of a corporation, the location of its headquarters.
Also, these Terms of Sale are subject to the application of French Law to the exclusion of the provisions of the Vienna Convention.
In case of dispute or complaint, the customer should first contact the seller for an amicable solution.
Otherwise, if the client contracted as a consumer, it can initiate proceedings before the Court of his choice, subject to French Law. If the client contracts as a professional, it may initiate proceedings before the Courts of the city of Marseille.
No other party that you or our company has the right to enforce any term of this contract whatsoever.
